Pendant Grace - Island Sun Solid Gold and Onyx Pendant

True artistic genius lies in recognizing depth where the rest of the world passes by too quickly to notice. The Island Sun Pendant is an exacting, high-fidelity preservation of an original raw clay sculpture hand-formed by a 3rd grade elementary student at Ellsworth Elementary School.

While the physical clay frame captures the bold, undulating sunray extensions, the true essence of the face was unlocked through his brilliant application of paint. Reminiscent of a raw, mid-century Picasso canvas, the creator utilized high-contrast metallic tones to masterfully paint a striking silver and gold mask layer directly across the central clay contour lines. The paint layers dynamically mapped the underlying structural ridges—framing the warm, expressive facial geometry, capturing the unmistakable living essence of his family members, and transforming an intimate childhood artifact into an elite, heritage-grade talisman.

We are finally able to bring life to this piece to you.  It was designed through innocence and should be appreciated, it's just beautiful!
